Story Telling; The Twin Maks

A long time ago in Lumajang, East Java, there was a kingdom named Bintolo. The king had a beautiful princess. Many young men feel in love with her and proposed her. However, the princess always refused the wedding proposal politely. She didn’t want to get married yet. On the other hand, in the small village there was a young man who lived with his mother. He was a mask maker. He also fell in love with the princess, but he didn’t have any courage to propose her. The man was ugly. “How can I propose her? The princess refused proposals from handsome and rich men.” That was the ugly man always thought.

However, he couldn’t stop thinking about her until he got ill that made his mother really worried about him. “What’s the matter with you my son? Please tell me!” “I…I… I love the princess mother but I’m ugly, I’m not sure she will accept my proposal, I don’t know how to tell the truth about my feeling.” The mother replied ”You a great mask maker my son, make a mask of a handsome man and wear it when you propose the princess.”

Immediately, the man made a handsome mask and it was amazingly looked like a real face. So he went to the kingdom confidently. “Your majesty, I’m here to propose your daughter,” said the man. “Stay here, I will talk to my princess” replied the king.

“My daughter, that’s a man want to marry you, it’s all up to you my dear, if you love him, you may marry him.” said the king. The princess met the man and she fell in love with him. She accepted the man’s wedding proposal.

The man was happy, he will marry the girl of his dream. However, he realized that the princess didn’t love him but loved his mask. He then told the truth to the princess and the king. He was ready for all the risk

“It’s true at the first time, I loved you because you are so handsome, but now since I know you well, I loved you the way you are. I want you to make the same mask as yours, I want to wear it in our wedding.” said the princess.

During the wedding, all the guests were surprised to see the bride and the groom wearing the same masks. That inspired a few people to create a dance called Twin masks dance. Until now, people in Lumajang called it Tari Topeng Kembar and do the dance till now.

Story Telling ; "The Legend of Golan Mirah"

Once upon the time there was a well known person in Golan, named Ki Honggolono. Ki Honggolono had cousin named Ki Honggojoyo, he lived in Mirah village and known as Ki Ageng Mirah. Ki Honggolono had young son named Joko Lancur but he is a bad person and loved compete his rooster. One day in the arena in Mirah village, his rooster suddenly run away, Joko Lancur tried to catch it up.

"Stop my boy, you have to go on the competition, come on!"

However, his rooster kept running and went into Ki Ageng Mirah's kitchen. Lancur stopped there, looking his rooster on the lap of beautiful girl. She was Mirah Putri Ayu, Ki Ageng Mirah’s daughter. In short, they had conversation and knew each other. Soon love grew between both of them. Lancur couldn’t help falling in love with Mirah while Ki Ageng mirah himself didn’t allow his daugther to have relationship with his cousin’s son.

“My daughter, he is not the right man for you, I don’t agree you marry a man from Golan which known as a place with full of gamblers and criminals.”

Mirah was just quiet, she such a soft and filial daughter. On the other side, Joko lancur was depressed and told everything to his father Ki honggolono. When Lancur offered his married proposal, Ki Hanggolono was unbelievable shocked and told him to get rid of that feeling because they have differences beliefs.

.”Father, I will marry Mirah” said Lancur sadly.

“But son, this is complicated, I don’t want you to face so many obstacles!”

“No father, this is my life, my choice, I will marry her no matter what.” Lancur raised his voice.

 Ki Honggolono felt pity on him, and the next morning, he went to Ki Ageng Mirah’s house. Ki Ageng Mirah surprised by the arrival of Ki Honggolono. He knew that his coming was for his son’s proposal to marry his daughter. He smiled but in his heart he hated to have a bad attitude son in law. He dare not refuse because that his cousin known as power full person. Therefore, to cover it up, Ki Ageng Mirah gave some conditions, First, the should make irrigation in Mirah overnight, second, must bring two barns contain rice and soy on the wedding ceremony, Third, barns must be able to walk alone from the village toward the Golan Mirah village.

And ladies and gentle men, Of course, Ki Honggolono agreed to all terms because it is easy considered. When the wedding ceremony came, all requirements have been made. With all his power, Ki Honggolo made hay (damen) and soybean stems (titen) into barns and soybeans. And by the help of the evil spirit, the barn was able to walk alone from Golan to Mirah. Ki Ageng Mirah already knew it was just a vicious science. Then, Ki Ageng Mirah seek God to reveal the truth.

And you know, it was proved ladies and gentle man. Kyai Ageng Mirah can not accept this proposal, and Ki Honggolono advised to return to the path of God. He felt embarrassed and angry.

Hearing all of these, Mirah instantly fell down and died. And Joko Lancur was shocked “Nooo….. why you leaved me alone, we will get  marry and I will make you happy”

“hahaha..Ok, wait for me, I will be there with you, no one can separate us” Joko Lancur stabbed himself into her stomach and he died. Then both of them buried into the ground of Mirah. In front of his son grave, Ki Honggolono swearing angrily “Mirah and the Golan people don’t dare to plant soy beans or to keep hay and soybean stem (titen), otherwise it burns easily, Mirah and Golan people should not be married or one of them will be die, Next, Mirah people should not carry goods from Golan village, because they could not find his way home, there is a river, Golan and Mirah’s water can not be merged.

Well ladies and gentle men, you believe or not, that’s your choice, however, the story is still there to this day.

In love With Beauty Stuff

Hello People... 

I'm not sure I'm gonna change my website but anyway, it's been long time and I missed writing my stuff. 

Busy with my thesis and I think I need a little time to refresh my mind. 

Well, started from reviewing some cosmetic stuff from many many websites...those Indonesian beauty websites, because my face cover up with acne lately...hemm I do really enjoy reading them and wanna share my personal experience about those stuff. 

However, many are bad experience which really broke my heart..yeahh...I stressed about what I'm gonna do to make my appearance better. 

Still working on it till now and some how I found some good treat...still good so far. 

But don't know when I'm gonna review about that beauty stuff. 

After finish my thesis I'm gonna start blogging in Indonesian Language probably. YES. 

Confuse

Not knowing what makes me confuse. Assignments that relate with blog. What the reason for making this and I don't know when it will be last. I remember one of my friend said yesterday. She said what happened with the "EDMODO" site where our lecture on semester 3 had told us to make account on that site. Hemmm.... I hope this assignment won't last the same as that EDMODO. Anyway it is good to have this assignment after long paused for not writing anything since I started my family. Busy with my little girl also my wonderful little family. I am extremely happy with that and wanna enjoy it very much. Okay ...that't a little bla bla blu...let's continue later,,,,eiiitsss close,,,my baby is crawling toward me,,,gotta end this soooonnnnn......

Its wonderful to have a good family like now. 

Unexpected LOVE

Love is a mysterious. 

Sometimes I wonder what a real love would be? Unexpected meeting with unexpected person in unexpected time, strange and unpredictable moment. Which draws both people in to unexpected feeling. This unexpected feeling we call it "LOVE". Why? So, I had never expected unexpected question gonna ever popped out your head, because I'm afraid I might give you unpredictable answer. What I know it is miraculous if someone ever falling in love. We have no reason why we fall  in love. If someone can give you the reason why they love you, I think she/he doesn't love you. But they like you. However love based on emotion not definition.  Agree?

So do you think for awhile, what makes us fall in love? It right be right that beauty and goo looking are capture our attention at first. But personality captures our heart. Sometimes people do ask us out for a walk or just hangout together, but for for sure they stick around because of our personality. We knew beauty is nothing without a great personality. And whenever we fall in love , I'm sure we can see our lover is always perfect,  because we can receive the weakness of our partner. That's why people called LOVE is BLIND. O,o

Someday, I hope to be someone for somebody.

Am I just hoping for nothing? You know I actually feel it. I bought two T-shirts and a pink cup. ANd I have planned to hand them over  whenever chance draws us together. I don't know, I did something weird just because my telepathic feeling toward this situation keeping me stay close to what I call it Love chemistry. Argghh... I don't really get what am I thinking about. What am I doing? Discovered someone I considered as the one who is so so so special really makes done unexpected thing. Hope is hiking and getting up there sooner or later. I need some foot holds to keep me going also strong ropes to prevent me from falling down. To reach the top in high place is some part of my dream. Or stay close to someone heart, to be dearest one will be taking high rate of my dream. I know I have my right to do this. I have chance and I will keep finding the opportunity. I know I can do it. I can make it. I keep fighting for it.  Just a  little more, I must work harder and keep my positive thinking. Love is the greatest part of me. It encourages me to move further. I know I can be a successful person in everything in this life and not just be someone in the crowd. I know I can be much more better than anyone I have ever met. And so being with someone I like and hold him tight in my arms. Mine and I won't share with anyone. SOmeone, who took place in my heart. Someone who makes me be a better person. I know I have this confident to keep me going. I know because with God's help I will never fail.
